Due to exposure capability only the brightest area is exposed, actual visible area is larger and longer than this clip revealed. Speed is lower than 13km/h,achieves no more than 80% of its highest brightness.

To My Little Niece

You came to this world and then left without hesitate, like a comet thrashing past the night sky, drawing a sudden end to your many year's dramatic life story, dashing our hopes that one day you will find out what life really means and lead a responsible life as we all expect.

During the past two years, it seemed you have found the center of your life, concentrating on something that manifests good human nature.

We just began to feel released and hoped that would last long.

But, all of a sudden the magic curse that usually engulfed you haunted again, took away our temporarily gained relaxation.

In a swoop of that devil and an accompanying heart attack everything ground to a halt, crashing all our long hopeful expectations.

We have always believed that the path you experienced in search of your life value is irrelevant to our hopes of finally realized that you have found something valuable and stick to it.

Now those hopes has become hollow echoes in the air!

But, I would rather pretend that you are taking a long long trip to pursuit your personal goal, to find out what is really meaningful, to fulfill our expectations, than to bid farewell to you!

I still hope that would come true!

Farewell to My Father-in-Law

My father-in-law, Young Suei Sheng, passed away at midnight, Jan. 16, 2010, aged 88.

He is a typical Taiwanese farmer, sincere, kind, and hardworking. He leads a simple lifestyle all his life. The only luxury he has ever enjoyed is his own family.

After suffering a hip fracture his physical ability rapidly declined. Months later deteriorated health finally brought an end to his life. The hardest part is he was conscious of his gradually losing control over his fading physical functions.

To me, his common quality really showed what is uncommon!

I’m not a plumber

Unpredictable showers fill the day, some pipe leakage also happened in my house.

I replaced two dripping faucets, fixed one broken hot water pipe joint, replaced one bathroom light tube, and attached two pieces of insect-preventing plastic straps to the bottom of door.

Besides, I also made a little bicycle brake adjustments, and wiped my car, those are my routine weekend jobs, although it’s still raining.

At night I opened my notebook computer, received email, read some news, and felt can not concentrate.

One of the precious weekend holidays has gone and I’m a little tired. I can’t help but to acknowledge I’m not a Taiwanese Plumber!
